Eco Modular Classroom

Finishing the school holiday 2021 projects off in style with our new Eco Modular Building. Using galvanised steel & Siberian larch cladding; our eco modular building was completed in 4 weeks from the first ground screw being installed.

Working in partnership with One Dwell Ltd & Wykebeck Primary School our classroom stands well and truly above our competitors and the portable cabin industry.

Wigton Library Refurb

In Time Design had the pleasure to completely refurbish an existing library area thanks to Wigton Moor Primary.

A full strip out including full decoration & floor installation along with the manufacture & install of bespoke library units, & a built-in feature wall design helped give the room a fresh & fun new look with maximum storage as the clients brief.

Working closely with the school we created a fun, bright & exciting space for all the primary children to enjoy.

Allsaints Washrooms

Another fantastic washroom refurbishment at Allsaints Primary Leeds, changing the exiting layouts & ripping out all the worn & damaged cubicles. In Time Design managed to restore 8No washrooms for all the children to enjoy.

A challenging project with asbestos removal and a 1-week deadline after removal sign-off. Bright and contrasting colours chosen by the staff including white enviroclad wall panelling and painted ceilings

Roundhay Donation

Each year we love to give back to our school community and on this occasion, we worked with Roundhay Campus to supply & build a brand new outdoor library to fill the void of their old library which was burnt down by vandals leaving the children and teachers shocked and upset. Working with the Primary headteacher we upgraded the original design and gave the children a building with a wow factor and showed the local community we are here to help.

Memorial Garden

Intime Design was tasked with a refurbishment of a tired & worn memorial garden. Taking away the old broken timberwork & refreshing the artificial grass we managed to bring the magic & safety back into the garden for all the children to explore & enjoy.

- what are the standards?

1. “Not enough signs to show whether facilities were for boys or girls”

Easy. Get some male or female signs and put them where they will be visible.

2. “Water temperature from some taps was too hot”

To avoid risk of scalding 43°C is the maximum temperature for hot water. Get the caretaker to check.

3. “Insufficient paper towels and soap available in the washroom”

Create an effective washroom cleaning/inspection regime. Ensure the facilities are clean and stocked throughout the day.

4. “Inadequate arrangements for the disposal of sanitary towels”

The supply of Sanitary towel disposal units should be in all female cubicles. This applies where age appropriate in both primary and secondary schools.

5. “Pupil’s privacy was not completely maintained”

This means:

• · Open plan / viewable hand washing areas are fine.

• · Toilet cubicles should be out of direct view from circulation areas

• · Door locks must be working

• · Modesty screens can separate urinals

6. “The school failed to meet regulations for sufficiency and condition of the washrooms”

· Provide the right amount of toilets and washbasins

· Make disabled toilets accessible

· Separate staff and visitor toilets

Modular Classrooms

Working with One Dwell LTD, We have managed to design, supply & install outdoor classrooms to help ease distancing in schools with COVID in mind. The classrooms are made of steel with timber cladding on the outside and painted white fiberboard to the inside. All our classrooms are fully insulated and come with electrical supplies inc LED lighting, Air Conditioning, and IT trunking complete with UPVC windows & doors.
